JAYS Curves is not only an easy-to-use music player, it also provides optimized sound quality through the use of Dirac HD Sound® technology. This patented DSP (Digital Sound Processing) technology by Dirac is the most advanced available today.

The t-JAYS Four earphones have been acoustically analyzed with high-resolution measurement equipment, which has allowed the scientists and sound engineers at Dirac and Jays to create a tailored software sound processor for unbeatable sound. This app makes your iPhone and t-JAYS Four perfectly calibrated for the purest possible sound reproduction.

Compared to the original sound of the t-JAYS Four, Curves give you more of a "high-end" sound with a neutral, transparent and balanced bass and also a lot more details in the midrange and treble. JAYS award winning 250 USD q-JAYS balanced armature earphones was the benchmark when tuning the acoustics.

By using quality hardware components in conjunction with software optimization, the limit of what was earlier possible in terms of sound quality has been surpassed, effectively allowing the hardware to reach its full potential.

Dirac HD Sound is far from a generic sound effect or EQ used by many others, it is based on years of cutting edge research from Swedish audio research firm Dirac Research, and is also used in professional cinemas, music studios, and by companies such as NAIM Audio, Theta Digital, BMW, Bentley and Rolls Royce.

COMPATIBILITY

This app with the DSP sound filter activated is tailor made for use with t-JAYS Four earphones by JAYS and is therefore not recommended to be used with any other earphones as the filter most likely will not benefit other earphones’ sound signatures.

With DSP filter switched off, the Curves player works great with all earphones and you can still enjoy the use of the simple interface with easy-to-reach multi-feature buttons and all the other functionalities such as cross channel and much more.

JAYS Curves is optimized for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPod touch.

Not compatible with iCloud music nor iTunes Match.
